Last week, I had the chance to present at the LIFT Legislative Breakfast on Long Island. It was a great space to connect with lawmakers and community members and to center the real stories of families and youth. Grateful to be part of it.<\/p>\n
Albany, Tuesday, Sept 30<\/p>\n
I\u2019ll be in Albany for the Advance Institute, hosted by The Arc of NY, the Alliance for Innovation & Inclusion, and the CDD.
\nI’ll be on a panel about storytelling in advocacy spaces with systems leadership and decision-makers. I\u2019m expecting folks from OPWDD, policymakers, and other key movers and shakers to be in the room.<\/p>\n

Dadvocating Training \u2013 Monday, Sept 29 at 10:00 AM EST<\/p>\n
The day before Albany, I\u2019m co-leading a New York State\u2013wide training on father and paternal engagement in systems and services. This will be a chance to highlight the role of dads as caregivers and advocates and to build more father-inclusive programs<\/p>\n
